Alpha Legacy Group

THE MISSION

The mission of the Alpha Legacy Group is to develop young men to become positive and contributing members of society, increasing their ability to become productive citizens and leaders in our communities, cities and world.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Encourage teamwork, peer mentoring, accountability, and learning through academic, financial, college readiness, career and life skills.

  • Increase male mentoring relationships with young males inside and outside the classroom environment. 

  • Encourage young youth to continue to excel in their educational and future endeavors.

Alpha Legacy Group

The Alpha Legacy Group is a mentoring program under the umbrella of the Sankofa Foundation, for young men between the ages of 12 – 18 years of age.  The mission of the Alpha Legacy Group is to develop young men to become active and full members of society, who will become productive and proactive citizen leaders who will make a positive and lasting impression upon the world.

The Alpha Legacy Group program runs annually from September through June.  Program sessions are conducted on the second Saturday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  

Scheduling is subject to change as needed.
